Why do I need a broker?
Can’t I just drive around and find available buildings? Sometimes the best opportunities are not available. Because of the Shumacher Group’s reputation and long time experience in the metro Atlanta area landlords and developers call us before they have a vacancy or when they’re in the pre-development stage for a new location. In addition we’re in touch with dozens of landlords, developers and brokers on a daily basis and have a pulse of the market.
Do I pay extra to work with a broker?
No, every deal has a commission as part of the cost. That commission will be paid to someone. Generally, our fees are split with the listing agent.
Do I have to sign an exclusive agreement to work with you?
Most of our clients work with us on a “handshake” basis. Our philosophy is that if you’re satisfied with the quality of our work you’ll remain a client. We trade our knowledge for your loyalty.
