Downtown is the city’s busy central business district. At its heart is Centennial Olympic Park, with its centerpiece Fountain of Rings and regular lunchtime concerts. Nearby sights include the College Football Hall of Fame, the Georgia Aquarium and the Center for Civil and Human Rights, which has multimedia exhibits. There are several casual, student-friendly eateries around the Georgia State University campus.
Downtown Atlanta is the central business district of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The largest of the city’s three commercial districts (Midtown and Buckhead being the others), it is the location of many corporate and regional headquarters; city, county, state, and federal government facilities; Georgia State University; sporting venues; and most of Atlanta’s tourist attractions. It measures approximately four square miles, and had 26,850 residents as of 2017.[1] Similar to other central business districts in the United States, it has recently undergone a transformation that includes the construction of new condos and lofts, renovation of historic buildings, and arrival of new residents and businesses.
One of the biggest selling points is the location. The venue is close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and with the FIFA World Cup quickly approaching, this space is perfectly positioned for restaurant concepts, private events, corporate hospitality, watch parties, and other World Cup-related activations.
Space is very well designed and decorated, offering a true dining and lounge experience that works well for both everyday service and private or corporate events.
Another strong upside is what’s coming to Downtown with The Stitch Project — a major urban revitalization effort that will create a 14–17 acre park and mixed-use development over the Downtown Connector, reconnecting Midtown and Downtown with green space, housing, retail, and walkable paths. With Phase 1 expected to begin in 2026, this adds real long-term value and future foot traffic to the area.
