The proprietors are Rodney and Tammy Dobson who opened the restaurant in 2006 with one thing in mind, to serve Great Food and give Great Service! Rodney is not only the owner but also the Originator and Cook of some good ole’ delicious Southern Smoked BBQ and some out-of-this-world home-cooked vegetables. The glue that holds it all together, Tammy Dobson! She has her hand in ALL aspects of Rodney’s. Training our delightful and knowledgeable staff, arranging catering, and making sure that everything runs smoothly and that all of our guests are appreciated and taken care of.
If BBQ is not your forte’ don’t turn us away, we have the most delectable hand-cut Ribeye steak that absolutely melts in your mouth. Add a Loaded Baked Potato and a Fresh Garden Salad with Homemade dressing and Texas Toast and you got yourself an exceptional meal!
Of course, you can’t stop there; our dessert counter is filled with all types of scrumptious Homemade Cakes and Pies! Rodney and Tammy’s daughter, Kayla, also has a hand in the family business; she is the connoisseur of sweets! To finish off your meal with a huge piece of Coconut or German Chocolate Cake. They will even take you from the table to the car in a wheelbarrow because trust us; you’re going to need it!
And don’t forget about our breakfast spread! From 8:00 am to 12:00 pm every weekday and until 11:30 on weekends, we serve all your favorites.
