Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group has leased the former Columbia Bites Restaurant in Kennesaw GA. The Shumacher Group, Inc. and Steve Josovitz represented new Tenant Massimo Andreozzi in the transaction.
About Massimo Andreozzi:
He spent a little over 10 years in Naples learning from some of the most well known pizzaiolos how to make the perfect Neapolitan pizza. In 2007 he came to the US and lent his expertise to Fratelli la Bufula in Miami until finding a position as Head Pizzaiolo at Fritti in Inman Park. Over the past 10 years, he worked his way up to Kitchen Manager where he ran the kitchen at both Sotto Sotto and Fritti, and gained knowledge of how to run a restaurant here in the US. He has always aspired to open his own Pizzeria Napoletana and thinks that downtown Kennesaw will be an excellent location.
The restaurant will be called Vesuvio, which is the name of the volcano that can be seen all around Naples. It will function as a dine-in, take out, and pick-up restaurant. He is not only planning to bring his passion for great, authentic, and fresh Neapolitan food to Kennesaw but also he wants to share a little bit of what it feels like to dine in his hometown of Naples. Not sure if you’ve had experience dining in Naples in particular, but restaurants there aren’t big and fast-paced. There is no stress on waiters to keep tables turning, Things are slowed down to better enjoy the food, wine, and each other’s company. Patrons of Neapolitan restaurants are accustomed to the chef coming to greet and interact with guests and offer his/her recommendations. He is planning on bringing in a Stefano Ferrara wood-fired oven which is a staple at some of the most famous Neapolitan Pizzerias in the world. He will be serving pizzas, salads, antipasti, and panini for lunch and dinner. He will also serve beer and wine particularly from his native Campania, Italy region. He is excited to bring to Kennesaw the warmth and beauty of Napoli.
