The Shumacher Group, Inc. has just leased space for Bellina at Ponce City Market. Irving Jacobson of The Shumacher Group, Inc. represented the new Tenant Tal Postelnik Baum for her exciting new concept.

Bellina is a shortened version of the street name, “Via Ghibellina” a romantic street in Florence where our owner, Tal Baum cooked and lived for 7 years.

Bellina is a modern Alimentari , A gourmet Italian market, offering fresh ingredients and slow-cooked foods for guests to enjoy on-site and at home. We are taking great care to provide mouthwatering dishes, inspired by the northern and central Italian cuisines and committed to scratch cooking. The preparations are simple using the best ingredients and reflecting the changes in seasons and market availability.

Bellina’s wine bar is a place where one can enjoy a leisurely meal or sip on a variety of Italian wines.

Bellina will also feature a dynamic culinary club with the main objective of spreading our philosophy of “good food as a way of life” through cooking classes, field trips and courses to a growing community of costumers.
